Map of southern U.S.

I'm working on an improved (less cluttered and more detailed) version of this map. The dot marking Ship Island is under a little of the word "New Orleans", if you're looking for it. Also, the forts of Mobile Bay are at the entrance, not at the end where I placed the dot.

Fort De Soto

This map shows the location of Fort De Soto in relation to Tampa Bay.

Fort Pickens, Barrancas, Advance Redoubt, McRee

Map of Pensacola Bay

This map shows Pensacola Bay. The red dot marks the location of Fort Barrancas. Fort Pickens is located on the tip of the island just below Fort Barrancas, and Fort McRee, which no longer exists, was on the tip of the island just below and to the right of Fort Barrancas. The Advance Redoubt is just above (north) of Fort Barrancas on the map.

Fort Morgan, Gaines

This map shows Mobile Bay. The location of Fort Morgan is shown by the red dot. Fort Gaines is located just across the entrance to the bay on the tip of Dauphin Island.

Fort Pike

This shows the location of Fort Pike on the Rigolets, a pass leading to New Orleans.
